Unconscious Data

Unconscious Data was presented at the Einblick/Ausblick exhibition at the Muthesius School of Fine Arts in Summer 2014. The installation consists of a rear projection, a floor projection and a tracking system. It deals with the matter of unconsciously generated data and its connection to the so called cloud. The participant steps into a cube and finds himself distracted by a moving web of points and lines. It is easy to miss that there is also a floor projection. If you do not move for a while, more and more particles are generated at your position, that keep track of your movement. If the amount of particles reaches a certain point they begin to migrate to the wall projection. In cooperation with Florian Scheske. Curated by Prof. Tom Duscher and Christian Engler.
