The Salad Bowl is an interactive sound installation. It is a research study on the intersection of sound, visuals and interaction. The interactive part itends to find new ways for visual feedback on sound controls. The installation is connected to Ableton Live via the midi protocol and is thus able to connect to various sound sources. Either your absolut hand position can be used to control synthesis parameters or actual vertex points of the projection can be mapped directly to parameters to bring together the visual motion and sound modulation.
